The fifth international conference about Innovation Research on Science, Technology and Culture (IRSTC) 2019 was held coincided with the 53th Universitas Pancasila anniversary, International Competition Student’s Creativity on Technology and Culture (ICOSTATEC) 2019, Heritage Workshop 2019 and Seminar Rekayasa Teknologi (SemResTek) 2019. At the conference with the theme "The Innovation Research on Science, Technology and Culture to Support Industrial 4.0 and Sustainable Development Goals”. The activity will be held on 11-12 November 2019 at the Auditorium Lt. 4 Faculty of Engineering, University of Pancasila
The theme adopted is the application of the results of research and innovation in the industrial revolution 4.0 to the success of the SDG program in 2030. Industry 4.0 is an industry that combines automation technology with cyber technology. This is a trend of data automation and exchange in manufacturing technology. These include cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and cognitive computing. The main purpose of this industry 4.0 is the stability of the distribution of goods and needs. Industry 4.0 enables data collection of community needs in real-time and sends the data to producers. So, producers can produce the right amount as needed. Of course, economically, this can maintain price stability. In business, this can expand the market.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the world's best plan to build a better world for people and our planet by 2030. Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the SDGs are a call for action by all countries - poor, rich and middle-income - to promote prosperity while protecting the environment. They recognise that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, equality and job opportunities while tackling climate change and working to preserve our ocean and forests. By combining the results of research, innovation and industrial 4.0 SDGs 2030 program are expected to be realised well.
