Abstract

Feasibility studies include the necessary investment, investment fund absorption method, income source tracking, and method of return on investment as well as benefits gained. The preparation of investment funds includes the initiation of the project including the collection of field data. Then the acquisition of land, planning and supervision are also included as the components of required investment funds. Financing includes equipment mobilization, material preparation, field work process, and commissioning. Interest on investment funds is also included as expenses. The division of the work phase, the volume of sub-jobs, and the sub-financing is set in curve S. Occupation of employment, absorbtion of investment funds and work scheduling arrangesment dictate the interest rate of investment funds and return on capital.  The proposed feasibility study process is then applied to 2500 MW water power electric plan as dam in Sungai Kayan, East Kalimantan Timur. The study indicates that the project is financially feasible.
