Abstract

  1. PT. Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (P SRI) is a company engaged in the distribution of tire. Often the stockout due to high order fluctuations during the current month while the absence of safety stock applications on tire FDR products. This will be very fatal to material procurement and order fulfillment. Therefore, this study discusses the improvement of inventory  control  of  FDR  tire  priority  products  in  PT.  SRI  using Probabilistic Inventory Model - Continuous Review Model. The research phase begins with the forecasting of tire FDR products, then classified based on ABC analyst method. After knowing the category of each class, conducted forecasting by using method. The selection of the buer method refers to the smallest MAPE, MSE and MSD values. The results of forecasting serve as the basis for designing inventory control of Deteministic Model. In addition to fitting distribution on sales data to perform Monte Carlo Simulation. The results of Monte Carlo Simulation are range of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) value, Replenishment Order Point (ROP), Safety Stock, and cost elements in FDR tire product inventory control.
