The fifth international conference on Innovation Research on Science, Technology and Culture (IRSTC) 2019 was held in conjunction with the 53rd Universitas Pancasila anniversary, International Competition Student’s Creativity in Technology and Culture (ICOSTATEC) 2019, Heritage Workshop 2019 and Seminar Rekayasa Teknologi (SemResTek) 2019. At the conference which carried the theme "The Innovation Research on Science, Technology and Culture to Support Industrial 4.0 and Sustainable Development Goals”. The theme adopted is the application of the results of research and innovation in the industrial revolution 4.0 to the success of the SDG program in 2030.
Industry 4.0 is an industry that combines automation technology with cyber technology. This is a trend of data automation and exchange in manufacturing technology. These include cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and cognitive computing. The main purpose of this industry 4.0 is the stability of the distribution of goods and needs. Industry 4.0 enables data collection of community needs in real time and sends the data to producers. So, producers can produce the right amount as needed. Of course, economically, this can maintain price stability. In business, this can expand the market.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the world's best plan to build a better world for people and our planet by 2030. Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the SDGs are a call for action by all countries - poor, rich and middle-income - to promote prosperity while protecting the environment. They recognise that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, equality and job opportunities while tackling climate change and working to preserve our ocean and forests. By combining the results of research, innovation and industrial 4.0 SDGs 2030 program is expected to be realised well.
The International Conference on Innovation Research on Science, Technology and Culture is organized by Faculty of Engineering, Pancasila University. Its primary objective is to provide an effective media for the sharing of information about innovative research in science, technology and culture. This event is also of importance for creating a network, collecting and coordinating information, so that research planners in this area are can avoid double or redundant experiment.
Developing advanced technologies requires more than applied research and development. Basic research in science, technology and culture will be the foundation for progress on research technologies. It is creative linkages between basic research and applied technology development that will pinpoint these opportunities. This event also has aim Information and knowledge exchange on science, technology, and culture innovation research, to contribute for application of the innovation research results, the strategic prospect for business opportunity and input for policymakers in government, regulatory bodies, and investors.
The scope of the conference will include the engineering, manufacture, maintenance, economical, culture engineering and management aspect, and all of the innovation research for science, technology and culture in the following topics:Science
International Competition Student's Creativity on Technology and Culture (ICOSTATEC) 2019 is a program that competes for technology products from Polytechnic, Diploma and Bachelor students from the various domestics and international universities. The purpose of this activity is to develop innovations from each student to take part in the welfare of society through the products of innovation that are contested.
Products contested consist of fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Informatics & Computers Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture.
The activity is motivated by the fulfilment of energy needs for the welfare of the Indonesian people through the development of renewable energy and projected energy deficit in 2020. The purpose of this National Seminar is to provide a map of the actual capabilities of renewable energy and green technology the impact of the increase in economic value, law/regulation enforcement which also applies to environmental conservation and human health.
With the entry of the industrial revolution era 4.0 and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals program. The Engineering Faculty, Universitas Pancasila held a national seminar as a manifestation to be able to help find solutions to the problem of energy resources in Indonesia through discussion forums for alternative energy experts and observers, Government Agencies, Regulators, Industry, Documented Research and Development Institution, Standardization Agency, and Higher Education. The scope of national seminars topics are:
Workshop on heritage building is a series of activities that will involve several domestic and foreign institutions with a focus on "how to design buildings in historical areas". The purpose of this workshop is for the participants (preferably the final semester students) to get a thorough understanding of how to design a new building, in the historical area, the Facilitator in collaboration with the PDA (Architectural Documentation Center).
The objectives expected from this workshop are:
The target of this workshop is the final level students (6th semesters and above), from the institution of an architecture study program. The number of teams targeted in this workshop was seven teams from domestic and international universities.
